Sourpuss Donuts has a home! Join us at our new Cafe in Mission Beach! Located at 3231 Mission Blvd. we are serving our delicious Sourdough Donuts 5 days a week plus amazing coffee, non-alcoholic drinks on tap and a fun all day eats menu with sandwiches, bowls, burgers & more! We started as a Farmers Market Vendor and Caterer 3 years ago and are so excited to embark on this new journey. Our location is designed to be a relaxing & Joyful third space and features an outdoor patio right between the beach and the bay. Hope you can join us soon! Our Story
Renee Fox is a classically trained Chef with years of experience owning and operating two farm to table restaurants in Santa Fe, NM- Arable & Loyal Hound. Along with multiple appearances on Food Network, Renee is a James Beard Foundation Chefs Boot Camp for Change Alumni, a Jaques Pepin Foundation Recipe Contributor, and Cooking with Kids Super Chef. She and her Husband Dave moved to San Diego on a leap of faith setting out to live the California dream. Sourpuss Donuts was created from a desire to bring a high quality "better for you" donut option to San Diego! Crafted with organic ingredients and choosing slow fermented sourdough make a unique donut that you can feel good about treating yourself to. Cooking without seed oils or artificial ingredients allows you to enjoy a treat that otherwise may be considered off limits. Unique seasonal flavors combined with the best ingredients offer up the most amazing donut experience!
